Wind Tre’s Success with ABS and Oracle Cloud Technology

Wind Tre is Italy’s leading mobile operator and one of the top alternative providers of fixed connectivity services. The company is part of the multinational CK Hutchison Holdings Limited.

To optimize the management of goods and services purchasing, Wind Tre chose to implement Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)—a real-time analytics solution integrated with Oracle Cloud ERP.

The project was entrusted to ABS

whose team managed all phases of the project: from gathering requirements to configuring the solution, training users, and overseeing the go-live phase.

Thanks to OTBI, Wind Tre was able to:

  • Gain a complete and up-to-date view of its purchasing expenses, broken down by category, supplier, contract, order, and invoice.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Procurement department, such as savings achieved, average order approval cycle, compliance rate with purchasing policies, and supplier service level.
  • Create customized reports and dashboards based on users’ specific needs, using data from various functional areas of Oracle Cloud applications (Procurement, Financials, etc.).
  • Share information simply and securely among internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to export reports in various formats (PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) or embed them in web pages or emails.
  • Make faster, more informed decisions, based on reliable and consistent data.
