Amplifon is the global Italian leader in the retail hearing solutions market.

With approximately 13% of the global market share, Amplifon operates in 26 countries across five continents, employing over 20,000 people and managing more than 10,000 stores.

Since 2019, Amplifon has been rolling out Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud across its group, starting in Italy and expanding to other countries.

The project encompasses the Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and HCM areas and includes:

  • Numerous integration flows between Oracle and legacy systems such as storefront and warehouse management systems
  • Reporting solutions supporting multiple business processes
  • Customizations to meet specific operational needs and requirements

The initial implementation and subsequent major developments have involved multiple partners, all coordinated by Amplifon’s Team Solution. While Application Maintenance is outsourced, it is managed and coordinated by Amplifon’s Central AMS Team.

ABS collaborates closely with Amplifon’s Central AMS Team, providing Oracle-specialized resources with deep expertise gained through previous project phases and dedicated internal training.

ABS has supported Amplifon by:

  • Reducing response times to end users through continuous monitoring of requests, prioritizing interventions by urgency, managing escalations, directing activities, and coordinating all involved parties.
  • Optimizing process performance across Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Finance, and HCM by analyzing critical issues, validating solutions, or actively contributing to solution definition.
  • Increasing visibility and control over the external AMS team’s activities, resulting in reduced service-related costs.
